It's like

breaking a body part, it heals, but it's so much easier for it to break the second time.
And when you think about how you broke it, it just makes you angry because you think of all the ways you could of done something different, could of prevented it.
But it was God's plan for you to break that part, wasn't it?
God broke it, and will heal it.

"weep no more. He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will surely respond to the sound of your cries. Though the Lord gave you adversity for food, and suffering for drink, he will still be with you to teach you" Isaiah 30:19-20

"Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces; now he will heal us. He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds. In just a short time he will restore us, so that we may live in his presence. Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him. He will surely respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring." Hosea 6:1-3
